Established in Qatar, The Yard was founded in 2005 by Jawaher Al-Temimi as a multi-dimensional design firm specializing in interior design and event services.
Today, The Yard is recognized in the local market for collaborating with a diverse clientele and delivering exceptional design expertise across residential, commercial, hospitality, retail, healthcare, and beauty sectors. We transform spaces into luxurious, stylish, and timeless environments that create memorable and immersive experiences.
Our portfolio spans from private palaces, boutique hotels, and upscale offices to the production of royal weddings, art exhibitions, and cultural events. Proudly representing Qatar on the global stage, The Yard partners with leading international collaborators, strengthening our position as a distinguished design house in the region.

The Yard is a design firm that consists of three distinct yet interconnected businesses: An architectural and interiors studio, an event planning agency, and a multi-purpose creative hub. Our companies are linked together and usually collaborate on projects, whether small or large-scale, but each remains very specialized and offers unique services – whether we are designing a private home, a retail space, or a corporate event, we work together to produce magnificent interiors, artworks and event designs that turn any environment into a spectacular experience.
We are committed to achieving the highest level of design with a turn-key approach through the services we offer. Our designers successfully participate in projects from the initial concept and selection of furniture and decorative items and materials, to construction document production, budgeting, city submittals, and project coordination – always with precision, professionalism, attention to detail, exceptional customer service and expert project management skills.

It all started with a vision and a goal: to launch a design business that reflected modern Qatari culture and represented our nation on a global stage. I built my brand and reputation by being different, never following trends, and designing spaces for my own people according to their taste, culture, and needs.
My teams and I innovate and re-imagine your style and space, approaching each project with a singular aim in mind. Design is our forte, but also believe in constant and continuous communication with our clients, always ensuring the utmost care to translate each client's needs into a cohesive vision and a 'big picture' that works aesthetically as well as functionally, while genuinely reflecting the client's personality and individual style.
My mission in life is to inspire pride in the idea of "Made with Love" while also creating a deeper understanding and appreciation for design and art in the region. It greatly pleases me to introduce you to my world, a labor of love that is 14+ years in the making, and I hope to make your own world every bit as beautiful as mine...
